My Two Year Old Has Pubic Hair
We received a phone call earlier on last week, that happened to coincide with the story last week on Today Tonight about BPA, and it’s affect on our babies.
The phone call was from a woman, let’s call her Jane, who had recently discovered that her baby had grown pubic hair much to her astonishment and immense concern, and ours for that matter.
Jane had just come off the phone with her doctor who was touring the U.S and who suggested that the problem with her daughters early onset of pubic hair may be caused, or at least in a small way, by the baby bottles she was using. We will not mention the brand but we will say they are one of the 5 biggest baby bottle manufacturers in the world who are still producing polycarbonate baby bottles that contain BPA but only selling them to countries outside the U.S, Canada & the U.K.
Much to Jane’s concern she then called us BPA Free Baby Bottles Online to discuss the issue further. The most pertinent point to come out of the conversation with Jane was; how can we possibly allow baby bottles that are not BPA free to be still sold in Australia, even if there is just a small chance that they may be toxic? If Canada and many states in the U.S have banned BPA why are we yet to still do so?
Those questions remain unanswered.
