Bottle Feeding Baby
Most mothers, these days, are now hearing conflicting information on what is best to bottle feed their baby.
These days, mothers are mostly told to breastfeed their baby as opposed to bottle feeding baby. This is not such bad thing as breastfeeding has many benefits to both mother and baby. However, this encouragement can lead to pressure and, when a mother decides to bottle feeding is right for her baby, she can be left to feel as though she is not doing the right thing for her baby. Feelings of guilt can often be compounded when, in your birth plan you decided to breastfeed but, for whatever reason, it doesn't work out – this may be due to low breast milk flow or work responsibilities.
Some new mothers prefer not to breastfeed, they prefer to have a bottle feeding baby. Mothers feel uncomfortable with the idea of nursing - for a plethora of reasons- and choose to let it pass by. If your baby is a bottle feeding baby you can feel assured in your decision, your baby can too. The baby formulas available on the market today provide perfectly adequate nutrition. And by cuddling, kissing and talking to your baby while feeding her, you can easily replicate the feeling of love, warmth and closeness that breastfeeding can provide.
Thankfully, most mothers who bottle feed soon overcome any guilty feelings they may feel and soon feel confident about bottle feeding.
